Adopt-A-Student

Give a participant the gift of three and a half weeks of quality musical education by contributing towards a student scholarship.

$1950 Tuition Scholarship

• a personal letter from your adopted student
• notification of all CSM performances by your student
• recognition in the CSM newsletter and program

$3900 Full Scholarship

• all the above, plus meeting your student during the summer festival, if you are locally available

Irene Sharp Scholarship Fund

In honor of Irene Sharp's extraordinary accomplishments as a teacher, performer and co-founder of California Summer Music, we have established a scholarship fund in her name. Recognized by the American String Teacher's Association as an outstanding teacher in 1992, Renie has served on the faculties of the Mannes College of Music, University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has given master classes throughout the world and has reached thousands of cellists young and old through her teaching.

Those receiving an Irene Sharp Scholarship Fund award are honored for their talent and abilities through both financial support and merit recognition.

Adrienne Flack Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund has been set up to provide cellists with scholarship based on merit and need.
