Housing

The Stevenson School is located in Pebble Beach, California, approximately 100 miles south of San Francisco. This community, set in a wooded area on the Monterey Peninsula is renowned for its beauty and ecological uniqueness. Day Hall dormitory is a modern, light and airy living space. Meals are served in Reid Dining Hall. The campus offers an Olympic size pool, gymnasium, tennis courts and grass playing fields, as well as performing, practice and lesson facilities.

CSM has seven live-in counselors on staff, including a head counselor and an activities director. The ratio of students to counselors is 10 to 1. Depending on availability, most students over 18 have their own room. Students under 18 may be assigned one or two roommates.

The cafeteria offers vegetarian options but not vegan.

Recreation

During the session, CSM benefits from of the array of cultural and recreational opportunities that the Peninsula has to offer. Attractions in the area include the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos State Park, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Carmel Bach Festival, Cabrillo Music Festival, and the famous Pebble Beach golf links, along the Pacific Ocean Coastline. In addition, the campus offers an Olympic size pool, playing fields, a gymnasium and tennis courts.
